I'm working on a QX-10 restoration project. My machine is paired with the same Epson Q603A keyboard. I also got the new thinner pads from TexElec also and they worked well.

Next steps for me are to get the machine booting properly. I've written some boot floppies from disk images from various posts, but I may be doing this wrong since the machine won't boot all the way up. I wish I had some known good QX-10 boot disks. The next thing I need to try is installing a Go-Tek, that is reported to work here of the forums.

No, those are two sources I had not seen yet. Starting with a flux image instead of a disk image (with an unusual track layout) may be just what I need. Thanks, I will try this and report back when I get the QX-10 back on the workbench.
