We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Future Domain TMC 855,870,875 or 885 WANTED

Are you certain that these are 16-bit controllers? Some have a "C/D" edge, but to the best of my knowledge, that's only for access to the higher IRQ pins--the 885 runs just fine in an 8-bit slot. The controller data path itself is only 8 bits. Could it be that the TMC-1600 series that you really want?

I'm 99% certain they are really only 8 bit controllers, I've done my homework.

Like a few NICs or VGA cards--they can operate as 8-bit cards. In this case, the 885 really is an 8-bit card; the early versions of the card didn't have the high interrupt add-on C/D edge connector.

So, basically an 8-bit card.

Anent that, does the 885 or its ilk have an ASPI driver available?

Yes, sorry, it's the only one I have. That card along with a lovely full-height Fujitsu drive are spares for my AT.
