Getting Orinoco Gold DOS wifi packet driver to work correctly

I've got this Orinoco Gold card, I'm trying to get it to work in my old Canon Notejet 486C. I've got the CAD driver loaded. Unsure if I'm using the right settings. The PD seems to communicate with the card if I use 0x300, IRQ 11, mem 0xD000. Although I don't know if those values are correct for sure. The PACKET.INI file seems to be configured correctly as far as I can tell. I set up a secondary WLAN on my Unifi AP using WEP. Just doesn't seem to want to connect though. mTCP's DHCP client always just times out and the Unifi web interface doesn't show it as a connected device.

Any trick to getting these things to work? I've got an HP 200LX arriving tomorrow, and was hoping to use it in there but I'm expecting power consumption to be a problem.

Well, apparently the Orinoco just doesn't like the Unifi AP for whatever reason. It connects to my phone as a hotspot, no problems! I'll just set up a different AP, should be good.
