Hi! I’m a recruiter looking for a Varian programmer to support a legacy system.

Skills needed (one or more):

  • Varian 72 assembly
  • PDP‑11 (MACRO‑11)
  • PDP‑8
  • Or similar mainframe/minicomputer assembly (e.g., IBM‑1800 class)
You should be comfortable reading and patching existing assembly code, working with tight timing constraints, and interrupt‑driven I/O.

Details:

  • Hybrid (GTA). Willing to consider remote depending on qualifications.
  • 1‑year contract
  • $130–160 CAD/hour
