Well, in Latin alphabet, there is a set of vowels: A E I O U plus a bunch more in various languages based on the same alphabet, like Å Ë Î Ō Ų. If you remove the decorations, part of the letter still remains and the text would still be barely readable.

Unless I'm mistaken, Arabic writing consists of what we in Latin terms would refer to as consonants (B D F K L M N P R S T V etc), and by adding dots or lines above or below the writing, you indicate vowel sounds? I.e. the vowel itself is more of a decoration than an independent part of the writing system. If those dots are hard to read, it is difficult to see if there should be a vowel sound, and in that case which one?

Not that it matters for vintage computers which usually were hard-coded into a US ASCII character set anyway..​

the arabic language consists 28 letter often a letter like another letter but you can identify between them dot on or under one of them ..

or one letter like two letter but it have dot on -under,or two dots ..

like this >>ب ,ت ,ث

and >> ج,ح,خ,ع,غ,ص,ض,...ect..​
