HP 9830A Front Panel & Keyboard Found – Looking for Advice and Parts

Hi everyone,I recently acquired the complete keyboard and front panel of a beautiful HP 9830A.It’s a machine I’ve been fascinated by for a long time, although it’s quite rare and hard to find in complete condition.

Given this find, I’m considering two possible approaches:

• rebuilding part of the original hardware, following the very detailed schematics available online;
• or bringing the keyboard back to life using an emulator running on a Raspberry Pi, while preserving the original look and feel.

Does anyone here have experience with these models or similar restoration projects?And most importantly: does anyone have additional parts, boards, or even a complete 9830A that could serve as a reference?
