It mentions that the switches do numerous things, but not into detail on which does what.

Does the computer simply not try to read the disk at all, or does it display an error message? I an error message comes up, have you tried cleaning the drive?

LT-3 is trying to read floppy, but if i put 1,44 disk it says "bad disk or boot error", and when i put 720kb it says "non system disk" :/ I have try to clean drive, but it doesn't work :| I get to the BIOS, and i find out that there is an option for floppy drive, but when i change antything it doesn't save it. When i look inside this laptop, i don't find any cmos battery, that's odd

According to the following link, the CMOS battery in an LT-3 is in a Dallas module: http://www.computing.net/answers/hardware/hyundai-super-lt3-laptop/37430.html

It will be on the motherboard and look somethink like:

There are various types of Dallas modules. Examples: DS1287 DS1287A DS12887
Hopefully, whichever one is used in the LT-3 is socketed for easy replacement.
