Hi, I've already posted some content on my IBM 5362 that you can find in my profile. Recently, the computer's HDD (60Mb) doesn't spin anymore. I think (or, better, I hope) that the problem could be the 14 pin Molex connector for the power. However, I can't find its pinout. Here it is:

...and where I took the pic from

The PSU it's an IBM 5561774 (couldn't find anything about this guy too)

VCFED, help me!

Thanks in advance

Does that connector actually have 12 pins? Is it known as JA1 or JB1 (used for disk drive A and B, respectively)? If so, the pinout is covered on page "4-16" (PDF page 84) of the Maintenance Information Manual you linked to.

Since these appear to be purely power cables, you might be able to bring it up with the alternate supply cable if the original is bad. Slim chance as it may be.

I don't know System/36 well, so take this with a grain of salt.

I appreciate the response, PT-2. Sorry, I meant 12 pins. Looking at the PDF after posting, I noticed this page (84), which I don't know why I never noticed before, even though I was browsing the printed version. Thanks again and sorry for the mistake!

No problem. It helped that you linked to a useful manual.

It's common for hard disk drives to use the higher voltage lines (24V, in this case) to power the spindle/motor. Of course, the grounds are every bit as important.
