and there was a post on hacker news resulting in tens of thousands
of downloads

We will be implementing parallel download throttling
and just added 500 more site scrapers to the ban list.

The site admin has also decided to ban web access from Russia and China
I think rsync is still available to anyone, though but anonymous rsync is limited to 7 connections
at a time.
