Kaypro desktop?

Funny find. I remember back in elementary school when there were Commodore kids and Apple kids one of my best friends had a Kaypro MS-DOS clone. He was always out of the loop as there weren't many ppl running around with DOS machines in school. We'd all spend lunch swapping/copying games and there he was with his lonely Kaypro sitting at home :D

If I were collecting Kaypros, there would be two late systems that would be worth having. The first is a 4-88, which is a 4, with an added 8088 CPU. The second would be the 386--the last system sold.

Kaypro also offered a 286 desktop system.

Another neat Kaypro to have would be the early II with the vertical drives. Apperantly over time, the magnetics from the crt would erase your floppy!

Ooops. :)
