Lets see what vintage computer folks look like

Ford Falcon?

I was going to guess earlier but was intimidated by the Aussiness!

Intimidated? LOL! I'm about as intimidating as a bowl of custard, hahaha!

Anyway, you guessed correctly (did you google it?) so here is your Gold star, as promised :)

To be more precise, it's a 1985 XF Ford Falcon, GL model. 4.1L (250ci) inline 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed auto gearbox, 99.3 horsepower at the rear wheels. More information (if you're curious) at http://www.geocities.com/falconfacts/falcon/xffalcon.html

In case you can't tell, not only am I a fan of Vintage Computers, but I also love my car

I have fixed the mismatching rear view mirrors since that pic was taken, they're both blue now.

Besides, that cluster does have a vintage computer feel to it I think. :)

Anyway, back to what we all look like...

I agree. There is FAR too much off topic discussion in this thread. Let's try a little harder to stay on topic ok?

Fair enough, that's why I tried to steer it back on topic towards the end of my last post. I thought there might have been another aussie on here who would have guessed it straight away, lol

I'm confused.
If this is the "Completely off Topic" forum, what's off-topic here?

Ahm -

Get A Life!

:)

To others: Before you think I'm just thrashing people again for joy, it's an inside joke that AHM is in on.

I'm removing it from my .sig, so here's the setup:
Code:
echo '[q]sa[ln0=aln256%Pln256/snlbx]sb3135071790101768542287578439snlbxq'|dc

I thought I would add it, since I just read this thread!

It's the IBM office near Waterloo Bridge (near the London Eye) in London :D

IT almost looks like an escort. when they had nearly the same bosdy as the mustangs, the body style is called the "fox-body"

i love the fox body mustangs! i drive a modified '89 5.0 convertible! :D

here's my car:

the biggest mod on it is the 3.73 rear end gearing i had installed... there's also an H-pipe and flowmasters, plus some minor engine work. (plus a gigantic K&N cone air filter)

all-in-all it's running about 270-280 HP. there's way faster stangs out there, but this still hauls major ass. the cars are pretty light so that kind of power along with the new rear-end really lets it get up and go!

I haven't taken a picture of myself in a while, maybe once I get my cable modem working again at my mothers, I'll take & upload one to my site. (maybe a better animatet GIF than the other one if I have the time)...
