I listed a few micros and some miscellaneous computer artifacts on eBay last night. Included is a MicroAce Issue 1, a nice Sym-1, a Digitial Research Ferguson Big Board, a 1975 Mostek F8 evaluation board, and a 1979 Fairchild F8 board. Also included in my listings is a 1975 Intel MCS-40 manual and a 1976 Fairchild F8 User's Guide. You can see my listings at: http://shop.ebay.com/craigsolo/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=10&_rdc=1

I have also added several micros in my collection to my web site. There are about 100 different alond with lots of manuals and software. The URL of my web page of micros is: http://www.solomonson.net/Calculator3frameset.html

Over the next few months I plan on listing some more micro related stuff.

The majority of them were working when I acquired them...but that was 15 to 20 years ago! I did fire up an early Mac this past weekend and dug out a copy of Fools Errand. That brought back memories! When my daughter was about 12 years old, we spent weeks solving all the puzzles and ultimately completed the journey. My next quest is to dig out an early Apple II and find my copy of Microsoft's Adventure game. I want to see if I can remember when to use "xyzzy" to get back to the entrance of the cave.

I'm up in Duluth (Sturgeon Lake on the weekends.) Cambridge is a bit of a jaunt, but not too far, and it'd definitely be cheaper than shipping it.

P.S. any modifications to it, or is it pretty much what's listed for the Big Board I on Wikipedia? (Specifically, is it capable of using 5.25" floppy drives, or would that at least be a simple modification? It'd be a lot easier than tracking down 8" drives and disks...)

Hello Craig,
you have a wonderful collection of great old computer.

I am fond of Vintage by only 3 years starting from what I have: a Ferguson Big Board or rather his Italian clone. I have collected more information on this including them in my web site http://fergusonbigboard.altervista.org/ . I could not access the ebay page that you entered in previous post, but in any case are of course interested in bigboards. May you better explain its serial number? Do you know if it has a special meaning, such as year of production? And have you the floppy user's group or other stuffs? Here (http://enricolazzerini.interfree.it ) I also started to scan some copies of the magazine Microcornucopia of which I gain possession. I also ask if others have suggestions or information for me. Thanks Enrico - Pisa - Italy
