Long slot covers

I found these going through a bag of slot covers and connectors. I knew that a lot of the early AT cards were too tall to fit into an XT case, but I thought that the slots themselves were the same heights. Did I miss something during the 286 era?

The two long ones look like standard slot covers. The short one seems to be the oddball, maybe from a pizza box or something with a riser card?

Nope, those two are about an inch longer than they should be. I would think they came from the same case, two serial and one parallel, but it would be an oddball case. A normal cover isn't long enough for two 25 pin connectors, they usually have a long and a short, like a parallel and a game port, or a 25 pin serial with a 9 pin serial.

Those are probably from a Heath/Zenith PC. Those used a backplane with the "motherboard" on a plug-in card which used a larger than normal slot bracket. The video card also used a larger slot bracket.
