Hi,

I acquired a TU56 drive in pieces. Completely taken apart. One of the things I need for it is the external +5 & -15 volt supply. Something like the H716.

Does anyone have a spare they would be willing to part with?

Also, any advice on re-assembly would be greatly appreciated. I am using the exploded parts diagram as my bible.

I also need a controller for it (I have a borrowed TD8E) and DECTapes.

Thanks,

Mike

P.S. I'm also in need of RK05 16 Sector (PDP-8/12 bit) RK05 packs.

My TU56 also lacked a H716, so I used MPM-30-15ST 15v and MPM-30-15ST 5v power supplies. I wired them in series, using the positive terminal of the 15v and negative terminal of the 5v supplies as a common ground. I also added fuses to match the H716. It's rather ugly right now, but later I'll build an enclosure for it, or see if there's space to mount it in the drive itself without having to modify any of the metalwork.

If you post some pics of the pieces you have I can help you put it all back together.
Are you using it with an 8/e? If so you'll need the 5 G888s and a couple of other flip-chips that weren't used in other configurations.
