I can't seem to find any information on this Sharp LCD Panel: LM64N711 despite do every kind of search I can think of. I know Sharp panels can sometimes be listed by shortened names or alternative model names, but that didn't help me find anything either. Not knowing if it has any alternative names doesn't help.

It's a 640x480 grayscale LCD panel, manufactured right around 1990-1993. It is listed as a "Triple Supertwist" type display, if that is any help.

It's found in the Tandy 3800 series of notebooks.

It's a very odd panel. Most panels I've seen from that time period are self-contained and can just be popped out. This panel is almost like more of a display assembly than a true panel. The two supports that hold it to the display frame are also what are holding the LCD itself together. You take those off, you can't just remove the panel intact, you'd have to remove all the individual pieces instead because there is nothing else holding them together. It's as if the panel is part of the entire upper display assembly, as if it's not a self-contained modular unit. I don't think I've seen a panel like this before.

If anyone can help me find any more information on this display panel, or has seen anything like it before, especially if its from Sharp, please respond to this thread. Thank you.
