Looking for Internet Mail service for Win95 Exchange 4.0 client

I recall that I had to get this from the original MSN back in the day, but either I'm hallucinating that this client could do POP/SMTP mail, or my search engine skills are failing me. Any ideas?

It appears that there was an update for it, originally located at http://microsoft.com/windows/downloads/bin/W95exupdusa.exe, but it's long gone and the Wayback Machine seems not to have it (nor can I find it via search engine).
Also appears the service was available by default in OSR2. But, that's a windmill to tilt at some other day.

This is just a guess, but have you had a look at the MSDN discs and the tech preview (don't know the correct name, MSTN perhaps?) discs that are on Archive.org?

For someone who was in the Microsoft sphere at the time this might be obvious, for us who wasn't it's not that obvious.

Just did a quick search through my crap, and surprisingly I have this update. Attempted to upload it as an attachment. Note that this was freely redistributable. Have not tried it.

It is getting harder to search for this sort of thing. It probably is "out there" in some big zip or ISO, but you would have to know where to look.

Note that Outlook 97 and 98 used the Exchange client at its core, and also added stuff to it.
