I have been looking to acquire a VT100 to replace some of my other terminals that I have let go of. I thought these were pretty common and I expected to run across them more often than I have. Also, the prices I find that come up on ebay seam to be higher than I would expect i.e. over a grand for a complete or if separately bought keyboard and terminal in the conditions I have seen. Are these really the going prices? Are they this rare? For comparison I have seen working blue ADM 3a terminals go for less. Thanks for any insight.
 
Yes, VT100 terminals seem to be quite difficult to come by these days and are expensive when they do pop up.

Some of what is for sale has quite 'burnt' screens or yellowing plastic.

There are (of course) exceptions...
