I'm looking for a replacement Hitachi LMG6111XTFR 11" LCD panel used in an piece of test equipment made in 1991.

I could find very little information online. Other than a couple of other people looking for a datasheet.

I found a reference to it in the Vadem VG230 chipset documentation from 1996:

The Vadem VG230 is a one-chip PC platform which provides a highly battery-efficient basis for
OEMs to develop cost sensitive, DOS-based personal electronic products. The chip contains all
standard XT peripherals, additional high-value peripherals and an ISA bus.

VG230 Examples of Supported LCDs Table
640x400
Sharp LM64060F
Optrex DMF666AN
Hitachi LMG6111XTFR

I figured my best option was to search (on ePay) for a early 90s device with an 11" 640x400 display that used the Vadem VG230 .... of course no guarantees when I come to open it that it will be the Hitachi display but it seems generally interfacing to these panels was fairly common (there is some info on the Sharp LM64060F referenced above and compatible displays on page 47 of this 1992 Yamaha doc).

I'd appreciate suggestions/advice. I know nothing about LCD panel tech.

The main issue with using something similar will be whether it fits the plastic display case (which I don't want to modify). I suspect the size of the LCD and it's mounting holes - 280x165 mm corner mounting hole spacing on the Hitachi - will matter.

Thanks

I have some 11" LCD's, I doubt that any match your list above. Do you know what the video connector looks like on any of them? I might be able match by connector type and location. A jpg of the back of the LCD would help too
