I've got a lc III, and a 73gb scsi hd in it, I've got it partitoned into 4 2gb drives, and the rest ignored.

I've installed different versions of System 7 on the different partitions, but I can't get the mac to boot off anything except the first one.

I've got a copy of system picker, but it only shows the first partition also.

Thanks,

Which exact version of Sys 7 do you have?

My Quadra 605 boots 7.5.5 and OS 8.1. My internal 4 GB drive has 3 partitions. One has 7.5.5, another has 8.1, and the 3rd is just a DATA drive. I just use a DA to select which drive to bbot from and it "blesses" the boot drive System folder. Works well.

A DA is a Desk Accesory that runs under the Apple logo in the upper left hand corner of the menue bar. Checking again, it's not a DA but a Control Pannel item. It is under the Apple logo under Control Pannel.
