While at VCF Montreal I snagged a second Green-Eyed Mouse (DE9 Bus Mouse) from a vendor and while it looks to be a bit yellowed the only issue is that the steel ball and the door that keeps the ball from falling out is missing.
The good news is that I photodocumented the first mouse, so I know that I'm going to have to hunt down a 1" diameter steel ball. The harder part is the door. I also took a number of good shots of both sides and how it looks when installed....
...but I'm not sure if it's going to be easier to ask around to see if someone has a spare or if it's something that will need to be 3D printed somehow. One of the reasons I photographed the first mouse was I was hoping it would result in people making more mice like they did for the Hawley however I guess there's not a lot of people looking to reproduce computer mice.
