Hi,

Recently I aquired a DEC Minc-11, in good shape. Alas not the trolly, but a Minc-11 chassis and a RX-02 cabinet.
I cleaned and tested the Minc-11 chassis. The power supply is ok. But when starting it with the cards inserted,
it remains in the all LEDs on mode; CPU hung. On inspection the ROMs on the BDV11 board are not at the locations
indicated by the documentation (EK-BDV11-TM-001_Mar78.pdf). The ROMs are at XE53/XE57 while XE53/XE48 is standard foor boot ROMs.

Is there a list of DEC ROMs, so I can check these ROMS are actual boot ROMs? XE54: 23-045E2, P8316E, 35042 8111DPP
XE57: 23-046E2, P8316E, 35042 80500PP

P.S. There is a page describing some details of the system I am reasonable sure of at: http://fjkraan.home.xs4all.nl/comp/minc/

23-045E2 and 23-046E2 appear to be the expected boot ROMs on an M8012 BDV11.

Thanks for the links. Now I am sure I have the correct ROMs and put them at the correct loctions. Alas this does not make the machine work, independent of S1 and S2 position. Guess I have to find out first how the boot process exactly works. It might not even come as fas as looking for boot ROMs.

BTW. The power is ok, checked with both multi-meter and scope.

I've noticed that http://www.dunnington.u-net.com is no longer there. That was a great site. I hope it comes back.

I noticed that also. I don't know what else was there in addition to the collection of DECROMs. Fortunately that wasn't very large and I have a few copies of that saved away.

One thing that wasn't there that I recently found elsewhere are the 23-453E4 / 23-454E4 KDF11-BJ images:

I'll have to try putting a copy of that on an M8189 KDF11-B PDP-11/23-PLUS. Don't know if there is any noticeable difference between that and the previous 23-380E4 / 23-381E4 version.
