I have been working on getting one of my Model 1 computers working. At startup it used to show very wavy video.
I checked all the voltage areas on the motherboard and they were good. Power supply is new and good as well..
I replaced ZR5 (74C00N) and ZR6 (74C04) which took care of the wavy display but did not solve the whole issue.
I now have good solid video but with ASCII characters in every character space on the display.
I've checked all the 16K ram and found it good. I have also removed the ROM jumper and it did not solve it either.
I am wondering what to do next?
