The NES might qualify as vintage...I'm pretty sure the rule of thumb around here to qualify is 486 and lower (or was it just lower than 486? or pre-1990?).

Welcome to the forums, anyhow!

Even if most of the stuff is fairly recent, it shows an ambition not to throw away the old stuff whenever a newer model comes along. A good start, which could lead to picking up even older stuff with some helpful pointers.

(or of course, in ten years from now, most of those fairly recent computers and video games will have the same age as a PS/2 or early Power Macintosh has today, whether you like it or not)

Oh Gawd, not that ol' Debarticle - there's people who don't
think 32bit processors don't have a place here!

Perhaps the Z80 is too modern as well?

Long live the Abacus! :-D

Hey CP/M:

How about my Sun Ultra 5 workstation? ;-)

Just kidding. Remember the words of a very wise friend of mine:

"It's all good!"

Hmmm.

I should give you credit - I thought you had more posts than
what you do, sorry about that!
I'm just some nobody with a lot of posts running second - ah,
might as well hand it over to Carlsson! :-D

I've been a member of this forum for over three years now, I just don't post very often, preferring to "lurk" in the background reading your posts :)

Actually, I have recently refrained from posting into several topics where I could not contribute anything important.

Ah yes, of course. I always considered my first 100 posts to
be quite informative & interesting (well some of them
certainally are) - unfortunately like everything else the
rantings & ravings come in & your virtually posting blanks.
