Hi Forum,

So far this is my collection (I don't count PC's or Mac's past 2000):
  1. Apple II+
  2. Sanyo MBC-555
  3. Commodore C64
  4. Atari 2600
  5. Sun Ultra 5 (how is this vintage already?)
  6. Pentium-100 (IBM)
  7. My TI82 calculator counts too, right?
What I would still like to get my hands on:
  1. Next Cube
  2. Apple G4 Cube
  3. SGI Indy
  4. Imsai 8080
  5. Altair 8800
  6. A PDP/11, but it can be the new "mini" version

I you want "mini", get a PiDP-11/70 -- all of the blinken-light and switch-flippin joy in a smaller form-factor. Otherwise you probably mean Qbus-based and there are lots of variations on that theme with differing degrees of "mini".

Nah, I meant the blinken lights version. As much as I’d love to have a full setup with magnetic reel-to-reel tape, I don’t think my wife would approve 🤣
 
Really impressive lineup! Must have taken a lot of time (and space 😊) to build up such a collection. Do you have a personal favorite among them, or maybe one that gave you the most trouble to restore?

An 11/05 (3U) plus TS03 (7U) is reasonably compact ... but not as blinken-light as other models that are 6U (11/20, 11/35).

Honestly, my favorite is the Apple II. Super versatile, runs CP/M with the SoftCard, and it has a great community. I even ended up getting an A2DVI 80 column card with HDMI output, so no fuzzy composite video.

The Apple II is such a classic, and having CP/M on it makes it even better. The HDMI upgrade sounds like a game changer
 
Some reasonable-ish Indys on Ebay right now, especially if they take a lower offer.

I've at least played on a Next Cube before. I worked at a company in about 2000 that had one in a closet - I took it out and had it on my desk for kicks :)
