Mysterious 80s computer

So I made a simple homemade re-ink (with Styrofoam, a bottle caps, toothpicks, a dish sponge, and an electric screwdriver) and I've posted the pictures.
The printer works too!
Impressed you're able to re-ink the ribbon and not have to repaint the house when you're done.

A power drill and "ink" I would think would not make good bedfellows.

It's not a power drill but an electric screwdriver (much slower); you can see it in the video. :)
The ink is only in the sponge.
Just one pass was enough to regenerate the ribbon.
Proof that I'm telling the truth?
I wouldn't still be alive if my wife found the walls inked :)

Nice job, results look great. Decades ago I was given a thing called a MacInker re-inking machine and from memory the small geared-head synchronous motor turned the take-up spool at just about the same speed as a microwave oven turntable. I'm sure I still have the motor from it and it looked just the same as a MO unit. The inking head was a tube about the same diameter as a whiteboard marker pen with I think a single tiny maybe 0.25mm diameter hole through one side, and two square-section O-rings that could be slid to position the ribbon centre over the hole as it was being dragged past it. It was guaranteed to get ink over everything as well as the ribbon. I think it wouldn't be too difficult to make one from LEGO.
