Hello,

hope have posted the topic in right subforum,

recently I bought the board in the photos, P/N 180-0002210 or/and 150-0002865 - should be NCR made, maybe specialized controller... but it have two ROM chips (BIOS), DIP40 free slot probably for co-processor or keyboard controller (these days will check the pinout - PSU, grounds, etc.. wich one will not be burned when plugged in). Also bought few more items, that should match with this board, so can make something working.

J5 connector - at the right of the empty DIP40 slot, is probably for keyboard or monitor... will check it also after powering it up.

Need datasheet or any info for the three square chips on the board:

1) NCR 006-3500402
2) NCR 006-3500404
3) NCR 006-3500447 D

I saw a photo of the same board with chip VLSI VC2951-0001 instead 006-3500404, so must be the same... hoping it's a video chip, also because located ROM chip near it.

Also found a photo with DIN5 connector, attached to J5 connector, but the cable looks not for there, so must be checked :)

Any help or info will be useful.

Regards,

Milen

these pictures are the typical pcb boards of NCR pc8 and PC810 computers. NCR architecture uses a riser board to plug in CPU, MFM controller and Video Card

It looks like a pretty cool project .. If all the boards are serviceable it won't be too hard to get it up and running ;)
