Hi all!
I have several NetFRAME NF8500 servers that I'm wanting to get up and going again. It's a bummer that I can't find the install disks for NT4 anymore. I haven't tried a standard NT4 SP3 disk and boot floppies yet - it seem to me, there was a specific build of NT4 that had the drivers built in. Also, I remember that there were licensing disks required. Before I spend a bunch of time beating my head on a wall with this, I was hoping to find some knowledgeable people on these servers, and maybe find someone that has some old software archives.
It seems there were a couple members about 20 years ago that were on here talking about NetFRAMEs, but they haven't logged back on since shortly after that:
shirkahn (worked for Micron)
netframe8398 (used to run netframe-support.net)
No logon in ~10 years from another member that had a NF8400:
jreidsma
I see member 1ST1 is active and on here asking about NetFRAMEs, but it seems I can't send direct messages. :-(
Anyways, hope someone here has some knowledge and maybe a software stash!
