hey everybody. I like old machines but I'll not hardcore. I will never be as knowledgeable as you guys. My first question is what is this?

It is a terminal. The shape of the case reminds me of Hazeltine but I can't locate an exact match to that model.
If you have a better copy of the image, the badge on the left would tell who sold the terminal from which who built the terminal could be determined. Only a few companies built terminals with standard designs showing under many different badges.

Hehehehe... IMO, you've all been had by a sadistic spammer! :)

Attractive female, computer terminal, lots of wood paneling, okay, I guess it could be a viral promotion for Banacek but that is rather roundabout method for doing it.

I used those terminals when they were new. (Yes, it's a CDC model).

The human model has a bit of a British to her look by her clothing and hairstyle.

I was watching an old episode of UFO and I have to say that the producers' idea of clothing of the future certainly was more interesting that baggy pants and t-shirts.

C'mon, that pic appears on almost every page on the internet:

Hey there welcome to the forum. Looks like that would of been a neat terminal. Guess that would be linked into any mainframe the company would have at the time.

Someone posted the pic in FB and some friends were guessing what it was. I searched all over the internets and I found the pic in many places too. I could not find what it was though. I really do like looking at old machines. I would still be playing Lode Runner on my sister's MyCom if the 5 1/4" floppy drive hadn't crapped.
