I am reposting this as I cannot edit my original post and have more detail/pics on the Sun Ultra 10.

I am letting go of this old piece of kit, a Sun Ultra 10 Creator 3D if anyone is interested. I cannot bring myself to bin it. I haven't had it running for many, many years and have just brought it to life today to see how it is. Attached are some pics. Every time it is booted the NVRAM is lost, so whatever retains this, the battery etc is not holding what is needed and needs a fix. However, after setting the default and booting the machine it all seems fine. As you can see from the pics it booted up into Solaris 10 (v5.10). I haven't cleaned it so it comes as it. The Sun Ultra 10 Creator 3D comes with:

• Sun Ultra 10 Creator 3D itself
• Keyboard with attached mouse
• 2 internal IDE disks (see model numbers in the pics)
• CDROM - untested
• Floppy drive - untested
• Some original older Solaris CD's

The Solaris really needs re-installing as at the moment I cannot get into root (will update is I remember it). I can get into a couple of other user accounts but they do not have any persmissions to allow me to reset the root password or clear it from the /etc/shadow file.

The item is sold as is for spares or repair.

So if anyone out there fancies giving this lovely Sun Ultra 10 a new home please contact me.
