Update

from 15 May 2022 the common problem with many power sources is solved,

The problem was the usage of micro USB port for powering;
now each hard disk unit comes with an attached and soldered USB cable.

Can I use this on a Stacy with the internal acsi port?

As far I remember, there is another user that bought one for a Stacy; but you will need to manage to connect the Stacy ACSI port to the handmade DB19 pinout.

From the user report, it works well once you managed to plug it inside.
As a modern replacement to the original internal hard disk.

From photographs I saw Stacy also has external ACSI port.
Also you will need to take into account that this high performance low cost hard disk operates in master mode,
no more hard disk units can be daisy chained.

How well would this work in a non-STe machine, like a STm?

Excuse the delay,

Yes, the device operates well in standard ST machines, also MegaST and TT ones.

There are units in stock!

Current price per unit, including an attache USB power wire, is 37€ (I can´t edit the first post).
Material pricing and shipment is continously rising... that is very annoying :(
