I recently got a 4p from a user on here, and I'm eager to get programs up and running on it. I have a DOS disk, is there any tutorial in getting it connected to a modern PC to transferring programs? I'm guessing Hyperterminal?

And to get a disk with communications software for the Model 4, you might need to make a Model 4 disk. This might help.

I know the Model 4 DOS (TRS-DOS 6.x) does have RS-232 communication facilities but I'm not sure that extends to file transfer? You might need to make a Model 4 disk with a comms program on it as described in the link above.

Hm, I was thinking about getting a floppy emulator eventually. The Omniterm program you have doesn't seem to work in my emulator, but then again, I am emulating a model I. Can't find a model IV ROM image.

I'll check to see if it has communication facilities built in, as you said.
