Yep, the computer that could've saved Osborne Corp. the second time IF it had made it to market in time.

This unit is very clean and works perfectly.

When I first got it, the latching floppy doors were a bit sticky, but working them open and closed a few times freed them up.

I booted with a stock MS-DOS 3.3 disk. Made a copy form A: to B: then booted with the copy and made a copy of the supplemental disk (GW-BASIC). Everything worked perfectly.

Items included:

Osborne Encore (duh!),
Power supply
Copies of MS-DOS 3.3
box of 360K diskettes with labels (BASF)

The computer will be shipped with the shipping blanks in the drives.

Asking $350 + shipping from Amarillo, TX 79121.

I'll also go with local pickup if someone is in the area.

Will keep this offer open for 1 week (until 16 June) then it goes to ebay.

Curtis

I think this Osborne model is rare as I have seen (and have) the others.

Yes, this is probably one of the hardest Ozzie's to find.

Unless you count the prototypes they were working on at the time. Like the XT clone in an Exec case. Haven't seen one. Only heard rumors...
