I have a PETvet which I used many years ago to diagnose and repair my PET 2001-8. I need to use it again, but can't find the documentation for it anywhere.

My PET was working well until I gave the bench it was sitting on a slight bump. Now I only get a garbage screen. Done the usual check/clean of the IC sockets. Fitting the PETvet gives me a different kind of garbage screen. Unfortunately I have completely forgotten how to use the PETvet and how to set the jumpers on it.

Anyone know where I can find the documentation?

Bitfixer inadvertently deleted the files in GitHub. But a forum member named Christoph said in a message from 2020 that he had download the documents. Send him a PM and ask if he still has the PETVet docs.

It would be nice if they were recovered and re-posted, I have an old PetVet myself.

(Only reason I’m using it currently is because I was stupid and plugged one of the original ROMs in backwards, but I might find a real use for it again someday.)

Fortunately I was able to repair my PET without it. A 74LS157 at D3 had an internal short on pin 10.
