  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

I'm not sure if this is worth dealing with but I thought I'd see what people think. I'd rather not ship it but that is a vague possibility, I guess. Local pickup in SE PA or meet in general vicinity.

Seems to work correctly in all modes (200 line, 350 line). Sorry the pictures are not great, the image in real life looks quite good, vibrant, good colors, white whites. I can try a different camera if there is interest in this.

Price is negotiable, just seeing what interest there is. I'll take paypal friends and family, venmo or cash. I don't need an EGA monitor but I'd rather keep it than just give it away, need to at least cover my cost basis.

I'll leave this up in case anyone is interested but I think I've decided I'll just set up a 286 EGA CRT system next to a 486 SuperVGA CRT system. I made some space. Sure, VGA can emulate EGA, but there is something kinda cool about the authentic thing. I started on EGA in my PC compatible career so it's appropriate for nostalgia.

Ahh man, I'd be all over this if you were anywhere near San Francisco! Do drop a line here if you ever decide to do a road trip to Cali...

Is the 5154 still available and if so, what do you mean by “partially working”?
5154 is still available. Powers on but no horizontal deflection. Just a vertical line. It seems to decode digital signal as a bit can be seen within the vertical line when connected to an EGA source. Don't know if this is an easy or complicated fix.
