QX-10 Software archive

Yeah the color board is very rare, at least I've yet to see one, though documentation does suggest that it did exist.
I have a qx-10 with a color board along with the color monitor. It did belong to E. Roche. Unfortunately the qx-10 is non functionnal. It keeps beeping when you power it up. I will receive another qx-10 next week. I hope this one is functionnal. I also hope I will be able to repair the first one using the new one to help me.

Oh neat! If you recovered other pieces of software, or unusual accessories relating to the Epson QX-10 or Exidy Sorcerer, please let me know. I'm trying to document and preserve as much as possible.
I can also help making new floppies too if needed.

https://archive.org/details/qx16_gwbasicI actually use the greaseweazle utilities for converting between images formats its supports hfe images fine and convert to and from a variety of formats including a raw sector image or imd. I wrote a few diskdefs for it to support the QX-10 systems.

These are the ones i use and work for most disks i've seen and you can convert using gw convert --format=<name> <input file> <output file>
Code:
disk epson.qx10.399
    cyls = 40
    heads = 2
    tracks 0.0 ibm.mfm
        secs = 16
        bps = 256
        rate = 250
    end
    tracks * ibm.mfm
        secs = 10
        bps = 512
        rate = 250
    end
end

disk epson.qx10.396
    cyls = 40
    heads = 2
    tracks 0-1 ibm.mfm
        secs = 16
        bps = 256
        rate = 250
    end
    tracks * ibm.mfm
        secs = 10
        bps = 512
        rate = 250
    end
end

disk epson.qx10.320
    cyls = 40
    heads = 2
    tracks * ibm.mfm
        secs = 16
        bps = 256
        rate = 250
    end
end

Do you happen to have a Greaseweazle diskdef for the QX-16? I have the Microsoft GW Basic for QX-16 disk image that you previously shared https://archive.org/details/qx16_gwbasic but I’m struggling to write it to disk with my own Greaseweazle setup, at least in part because the format spec is unclear to me.

This is gwbasic for msdos so it uses the standard ibm 360k format. On the greaseweazle that should be using the the --format="ibm.360" option.

Ok, thanks. That makes sense and it was the first thing I tried -- but I consistently get a "Failed to verify Track 0.0" error. I must have a problem with my floppy drive or the drive settings (NEC FD1157C -- dual mode 48/96 TPI drive) because I've so far been unable to write anything with this setup. I appreciate your help, I'll keep working on a solution.
