A really impressive effort! I'm not a big Rainbow fan, but the amount of work you put in here is remarkable. Let me know when you replicate a PEP-70 though!

thanks, it was a few months' work. but what is a pep-70?

A third-party memory board for the PDP-11/70. They seem to sell for about $2K on the rare occasions they show up for sale.
Really, one would want to do a slight update to use modern memory since I can't imagine the original RAM would be available.
