Hi, I'm trying to remake the PC100B memory extension for Rainbow 100B, just for fun, using Tony Duell's schematics.
can anyone take some high resolution pictures of this card (above and below) and post the images in this thread?
help would be greatly appreciated
Regards

I can (eventually) use my Cannon to take some pictures, you might have to give me some time to get organised though.

I took some with my smart phone (iPhone 6) so it's older and not as good. I'd have wanted to use my Nikon DSLR but don't have a macro lens for close ups. I wlll attach what i got here if I can.

Good, if you need more or somewhere specific just let me know. Good luck with your project to re-make this board.

I actually have 2 extra of these that were included with the spare stuff given to me. Along with some Professional 350 cards. Not sure what the RT card does for the 350 as I have never really messed with it since it runs a very small RT-11 I believe. At least it does not have POS on it. I wish it could run RSX-11, but it does not have enough memory for that I believe.

in italy is pretty rare, I bought my 100A from a collector friend of mine. I found some part on ebay, mainboard rev. B and hdd controller for upgrade but now I need of more RAM.
this is my beauty after remove monitor cataract.
in any case, if you can sell one of your surplus memory cards I interested.

I could not get much off this board. The capacitor I can only get the number M8408. The manufacturer name is very small and almost underneath so very hard to read even with a magnifier. The resistor packs all have: 1316995 on the top line, middle line is 02 95Y and third line appears to be some squiggle first then 8415. I looked at the other two boards but they are not the same layout and appear to be 64k expansion vs this one.

1316995 is DEC Part # 13-16995. The ~8415 is the date code (1984, 15th week). A quick check of the DEC Multi-Class Component Index Rev H 1977 doesn't seem to have it. Not too surprised since it was probably designed after 1977. Next step is to probe it with a volt-ohm meter and try to determine it's geometry and resistance values.
