All this PET talk made me go through my pics, of which some I may have posted before.
Composite video experiments
I built this circuit two and a half years ago:
These were the results I obtained from a 40 column PET:
I also found a ready-made RF box, but the results were even worse:
At that point in time, I had yanked loose (!) a monitor from a 8296 and used it for various testing:
However it seems one month later, I could no longer get much output on the screen:
Who said you need a proper test bench when you can fiddle around in your own bedroom?
Notice I didn't post pictures of those nice, complete PET machines standing next to eachother and looking droolworthy. That kind of pics you have already seen.
