A couple of updates in all things Lo-tech.

First, the MIF-IPC clone is now confirmed working with Roland MPU-401. The card uses the ISA slot bracket from an IBM 1501987 parallel card.

Secondly, the 8-bit IDE Adapter, which works with normal IDE and SATA drives, has now moved on to Revision 3. Changes include user-selectable IO addresses and a larger form-factor compatible with Keystone 9202 slot bracket.

More info at www.lo-tech.co.uk.

Now if you could get the Lo-Tech to work with a Model 1! that would be awesome. And if need be I will build the prototype as before and test it.

Yes, the excellent FreHD.

Re Model I - I just need some help understanding the changes. I last read that the IO needs to be changed to memory-mapped IIRC.

@Glitch & Pearce_jj Yeah the FreHD is great. I do have one. But just for grins here is a link to the original TRS-IDE that the lo-Tech is derived from. Look at the 2nd schematic that is the one modified for a model 1. May have to modify it same as Matt did with the original design for the MIII/4.

And Yes the Model III/4 use Ports for I/O the Model 1 uses memory mapped I/O.
