search not working properly?

It looks like the search function doesn't work properly. When I try to search for "C128" or "commodore 128" I only get a few results (c128 = 1, commodore 128 = 0). There are more topics than that in the Commodore forum :-/

To be fair, the vBulletin/VCFed search function has never worked worth beans. Use google with the site:vcfed.org tag.

Are you putting quotes around the search term, or just typing out

commodore 128

?

If you type "commodore 128" with quotes, it will give you better search results. I got pages of results using the quotes.

You've posted that trick previously and I have used it with terrific results ever since. I agree, the Forum search never finds what is wanted or it is 10 pages down.
