Does Jim still come around these internets anymore? I left him a message on his Retro Innovations website but never heard back.

I just need a couple of EPROMs burned with some C64 firmware, and that sort of thing was right up his alley.

Any ideas?

What are the EPROM Manufacture name(s) and EPROM Numbers? There are several VCF folks that
support EPROM Burning, if they have the correct equipment for the specific EPROMS.

Howdy guys,

Here's what I'm after.. I need ROMs (and one uC) for two different boards:

Board #1 - Has selection jumpers for either of these, only one is needed):
27C512
27C020

Board #2:
W27C512-45Z (Not sure how this differs from the plain 27C512 above. Any idea?)

Also needs the following uC programmed:
Atmel ATF16V8B-15PU

---:END OF LIST ---

I don't have any blank chips, was planning to have Jim supply them as in the past. So please lmk if & how you might help. Thanks again!

I have plenty of 27C512's in stock but no 27C020 currently (I do have 010's) and I don't have a blank Atmel uC either.

A quick check of my stash didn't show any 27C512 EPROMS, but I may have some in another stored container.

The Windbond W27C512-45Z is a DIP 28 EEPROM and can be located on EBAY as USA stocked part at
$3.63 plus shipping of $4.90 with about 4 day shipping. My Minipro-TL866 should program it.

I do not have a Atmel ATF16V8B-15PU DIP-20 but my Minipro-TL866 should program it.
Digikey has it listed as an Obsolete part. Some USA stock is available with free shipping.

Did you get the chips you needed burned?
I've got some 27C512 EEPROMs, but won't have any ATF16V8B-15PU for a few weeks.

Sat and talked with Jim at length at the VCF SE event in Atlanta last weekend. :)

I pull 16B8B GAL chips off of Atari arcade PCBs I part out and reuse them. Works like a champ.

I have EPROMs and can program them. You have the code files for everything?
