Semi Tech STM 5500 laptop manual needed

Hello,
I got 1988 portable computer STM 5500. It seems to be working but the plasma screen is dead. It got an external monitor connector that should support MDA. But for that I need to know how to set the DIP switches. Manual for it would save me, but it seems to be very little information about that computer online. Maybe someone here have any info about it? All I was able to find is some marketing info.

Hi, seems to be elusive indeed. There is one in the Norwegian Digital Museum, which shows a clear picture of dip switched 2, 3, 5 and 6 being in the down position. Worth a shot?

Yeah, have seen that page. Will try these settings.

Was able to fix it's gas plasma display so DIP settings are not high priority but would be nice to know them.

Cool, what was wrong with the display?

Someone plugged it's connector backwards. Also had to replace the capacitors on it's logic board. Now only need to figure out what's with these black stripes.

Well that was a quick fix well done!

It's a miracle it survived that. That plug carried also supply voltage not only the signals.
