New to Apple's so still feeling my way around.
Got a Apple IIc with one of the 255 ROM's. First thing is I upgraded to the 4X ROM which works. The basic diagnostic test passes and everything seems to work. Getting video etc.
One thing I've noticed is there is no beep on startup. From what I've read it should beep on startup. Removed and tested the speaker and it works. Then connected up a oscilloscope to the speaker output and it's not doing anything on startup.
Before I go down a rabbit hole, it's supposed to beep on startup correct? Is there something I'm missing and it'''s been disabled somewhere? Everything else seems to work. Motherboard is spotless so don't think there is any corrosion or broken tracks.
Is there a basic program I can type in that will test the speaker?
