TI Avigo 10 users?

Does anybody have the CDrom that came with Avigo? I bought two Avigo devices (used) but unfortunately without software. If somebody could upload that somewhere would be very useful, thanks!

I think, I have the CD shipped with the German Avigos laying around here. Would that help?

I just noticed, that 13 years after starting this thread, I still have several Avigos here, but don't use them anymore. :???:

There appears to be an Avigo simulator in the archive, in pcbased/AviSim. However, it requires the bootrom for the Avigo, which was available as a download from TI.

Unfortunately, they're no longer online:

Hi!

I uploaded the ROMs to https://archive.org/details/ti_avigo10_swupdate_v1004 today.
I also upload a mirror of Gerard Vermeulen's freeware Avigo SDK to https://archive.org/details/avigosdk.

Cheers,
Robert

Any chance someone has documented a way to interface with this thing sans dock? I've acquired one from my local Goodwill, but it is only the device itself, no dock/cradle, no sync cable, etc.

I know it's got an IR port, and I have old Dell laptops I can get win 9x/2k or Linux on, but not sure where I'd proceed from there. Doesn't seem to be any answers to that from googling around. I don't mind getting hacky.

Its a serial port, you have 4 pins that will connect to any old serial port. +5V / Receive / Transmit / Ground

Hey @fibrewire - thanks for sharing this archive! I recently bought a couple Avigo's (one bare unit, followed by a nicer one with a dock), and it's been really bumming me out that all the links to software for this thing are long dead, and your bundle was purged from the Internet Archive. In any case, I've downloaded your zip file - thank you again for sharing it!
