What the heck, I'll join in 
Friday the 13th was probably my favorite one... only because I managed to find it within an infected file by comparing an uninfected and infected file line by line in a hex editor. I was a teen at the time, and to this day am not versed in that kind of programming, so I certainly couldn't recreate it, but the differences were (from 2 decades of fuzzy memory) a few bytes and sumDOS on the infected file. Kind've cool to me.
