VCForum made it into google

The main site is a consistent top 10 in Google and other search engines (try Kenbak-1, Altair 8800, Telcon Zorba and more.)

If you search for Vintage Computer or Vintage Computer Discussion we'll be at the top.

If you search for Terry Yager, too. . . ;)

I was very big into SEO for a while and made sure my site benefited.

i find it neat that if you type in "Terry Yeager" in yahoo, you get an auto parts site in Arkansas!

two Terry Yeager's in the USA that are both into cars!

I can do even weirder than that. There's another guy here in Michigan with the same name, and his birthday is the exact same day as mine, but one year earlier (he's 1954 and I'm '55). The reason I know this is that I've been picked up and hauled off to jail twice before, for his unpaid traffic tickets! (Seems we're both lousy drivers too).

jesus, that sounds like something you would see in a movie!

of course, it hasn't worked the other way for you... like Publisher's clearing house showing up at your door ')

This was the top result I got from Google when I typed my Nickname in:

Lots of other links came up which have nothing to do with me, hence why
I decided not to print my -full name in- since the Usenet stuff was doing
that as such & getting replies from trouble makers. Not that there's any
here, though there's a great chance that hackers/crackers want to find
me if they knew who I was! :-(

I'm not much of a target for haxorz cauze I don't have anything they'd want to steal. I almost wish someone would steal my identity and all my debt along with it...

Well I'm sure I don't have much to steal either, though occassionally
some bod is sturred up & it's better to have Nickname rather than a Name.

Having an alias breaks up the stuff I have on Usenet & here, and makes it
harder to track for people who are the scum of the Earth (trolls).

Hey If someone stole my identity they'd be in for a heck of a shock. I wonder how much I could charge them to take it back! Ha HA
