I am trying to max out my IBM 5160 XT and I want to add another floppy drive.

You shouldn't. Just make sure that the drive select on the Teac is set for the second drive select (DS1), plug it in, set the motherboard switches to reflect the added floppy and you're good. I'm assuming that you've got the mounting goodies you need...
