I need for my Tandom TM100-1A in its latch plate assembly of the following object.

Thanks for help.

Enrico - Pisa- Italy

What a coincidence.
I've just spent the last hour going through about 10 Tandon TM100 drives that either need aligning, or I've tried to align but can't because the heads or other parts are shot.
On those I couldn't align, I've been robbing parts (before I dump them) like belts, and those damn latches because I knew someone was going to need one some day.
PM me your mailing address, and I'll get one in the post to you.

WOW... that's incredible.

1st: do you have those complete manuals?
http://www.textfiles.com/bitsavers/pdf/tandon/TM100-3_3M_4_4M_Service_Manual_Jul81.pdf
or look here http://www.textfiles.com/bitsavers/pdf/tandon/
I hope this would help.

2nd: my email is elazzerini.interfree.it - Pisa - Italy

3rd: i just yesterday complete my kaypro-II machine and i need of its 4 Power Cord Holder & Fastner handle. Do you know how i could do?

Regards

Enrico

Yes, thanks I've got those manuals and more.
Some (most) Tandon drives just weren't meant to live forever.

Now - this could be your lucky day !

Power Cord Holder - I think you mean the black plastic things on the bottom that you wrap the cord around (same as on a Kaypro 10?), correct?

Fastener handle - not sure what you mean.

But the good news is, I've got a Kaypro 10 parts machine.

How about you post a photo of this fastener handle, so I know what you're talking about.

A) look this pic: http://www.classiccmp.org/dunfield/kaypro/h/k2back.jpg

1) Power Cord Holder are black plastic things on the bottom that you wrap the cord around at the 4 corners of the pic
2) handle : see the black handle in the center of the pic

B) my tandom tm100-1A drive was without the latch so when i tried to power it on the mechanical part of the plate assembly touched the bottom of the PCB. i saw almost an IC smoking and i'm here to take away with desolder and ic at time looking to make free the short circuit between the +12dc line and the ground line. I hope to solve this.

so if you cand send the latch and the other kaypro parts to me (Italy) or to my friend in los angeles it would be fine for me

Enrico

Put the soldering iron away - I might as well send you a TM100-1A drive and servo board while I'm at it.
