Wow Alker..10 2001s? That makes me jealous .. x10 ;-)

Don't have any duplicate 2001 models you're looking at offloading near Texas by chance?

well, I already hat around 15 PET 2001 (with chicklet keyboard) and I sold some.. I do restoration of these machines.. I'm specialized to repair PET 2001, SX-64 and Apple Lisas.. often I buy broken PET 2001 and put from 2 one working machine together...
sadly there is a little distance between here and Texas..I come from Austria/Europe ;-)

I have PETs 2001 in all variations: with white tape recorder, black one, with blue frame / black frame, blue label / black label and all variations also with the early PET motherboards.. so I only have 2 or 3 machines that are the same.

I always try to find collectors for trading / exchanging stuff.. but there are not so many around who have what I'm searching for..

Please give us some examples of what you would be looking for in your Commodore collection. Prototypes? Special editions? Localized versions? 3rd party upgraded machines? I can't help but wonder if the Japanese C64 is among those 15x C64's and if there is at least one VIC-1001 among the 5x VIC-20's.

Is the CBM 510 rather a B500? I suppose P500 is much less common as it pretty much never got released.

I would seriously like to know where you guys manage to store all this stuff

I have a modest collection of Commodore stuff and around 45 machines from various manufacturers and I'm struggling for space !

Anyway here goes

Vic-20 (VC-20) - Boxed
Plus 4
C16 starter pack with Datasette (Boxed)
C64 Breadbin (Boxed)
Amiga 500 (Boxed)
Amiga 1200
Amiga 1500
Pet 8096-SK

1541-II floppy drive
8050 twin drive

Very small collection, but these have always been in my "protected" list (from reselling):

SX-64
Amiga 1000 with Commodore 2002 monitor, 256k expansion + Microbotics 2MB (2.5 MB total)
Amiga 500 with 1MB (although the 512k expansion is a bit suspect). It is somewhat dismantled, since I never really put screws back on after installing a 68010 a while ago.
*Had* a minty Commodore 128D, boxed (including original Toys 'R Us receipt), that was stolen during one of my moves. Ironically, they didn't steal the keyboard because I had it in a separate box, so I still have it somewhere (although it got a small nick during that same move).

Vic-20
Plus/4, boxed/complete
SX-64
C64, boxed/complete/receipt (have about 10 other spares bought at flea markets for $1-5 apiece some years back)
C64 slim, boxed/receipt
C128
Amiga 2000 x 3 with various expansions including GVP 030, A2320 Flicker Fixer, etc.
Amiga 500 x 2, original/boxed, one with GVP A500+, both with Microbotics 512kb/RTC expansion
Amiga 1200 with trapdoor Microbotics 68030 + 64mb Expansion

various boxed hardware/software, including most of the various 1541 models, a 1571, 1581, etc... also a few flavors of the 1084S monitor

Still looking for a multisync C= monitor, but that's probably a pipe dream (at least for prices I'm willing to pay)

Vic-20
Commodore 64
Amiga 500
Amiga 2000

I might also be getting a 4000 sometime before the year ends. I also have leads on an SX-64 but it's missing its handle.

maybe i should update, sicne its been awhile now.

I'm no collector, I've just got a breadbox C64 from 1982 or so, rebuilt in a 1987 C64C case, the VIC-II chip is from the C64C since the original was faulty from the start (sprite 7 didn't work) and the keyboard was dead), an Amiga 500 with the standard 512k RAM addon, external disk drive no longer works, internal once replaced with an Amiga 2000 drive (it has the light, so it lights up inside out). I still like the reset button I soldered to my C64 (the C64C is just the shell and keyboard, the motherboard is still the old 1982 one). There's a little hole in the side for the cord for the big red button that says "don't press this button."

I did notice some Commodore branded DVD-Rs a few years back, don't know if they were legimate, but had to buy some just for the nice white Commodore DVD cases. Of course they hold Commodore software collections now. Commodore sells, but who's buying? :D

As a long time Commodore/Amiga user, I have the following:

VIC-20 x 4
C-64 x 2
A1000 x 1
Amiga Sidecar x 1
A500 Too many to count, but two are complete and fully working.
A1200 x 2
A2000 x 1
A3000 x 2 (one not working)
CD-32 x 1
A4000 x3 (two in tower cases, one has PPC accelerator)
Amiga One x 1

All working Amigas have various accelerator cards. All 'big box' machines (except A2000) have video cards.

C64 Boxed X 2
64c Boxed
c128 Boxed
Vic 20 Boxed X 2
c16 non working Boxed.
C65 missing chips
A1200 Boxed
A500

A few misc disk drives to go with them.

Yeah, my main love is to Commodore computers.

Later,
dabone

My collection, so far ;)

My collection, so far ;)

Old thread, but here goes;

2xPET LED calculator
1x2001 chicklet kbd, white phosfor
1x3032
1x4016
1x8032
1x8032SK
1x4022
1x3040
1x8050
1xVIC20
3xC64 breadbox
1xC64 slim
1xVIC switch (Handic)
2x1541
1xc64 300/300 and 1200/75 modem Handic, don't know part #
tape drives

Boxes? Naah, I use 'em! Most of these are working and I occasionaly bring up Space Invaders on the 3032 - if only I had a version to run on the 8032SK...

My favourite is clearly the 2001. This was my first computer I got back in 1982. I tought myself programming and how to interface to hardware. I never forgot the day it arrived (pre-owned of course) and I spent all night typing in a program (think it was some kind of file register) that I had written down on paper earlier.

The only think I'd wish I had in the list is the SX-64

can you post a PRG of space invaders, or is this common and I just missed it? what's the commodore version on the 3032 era PET called?
Bill
