What Commodore computer(s) do you own?

Check Zimmers in PET > Games > English. It has at least two different (?) Space Invaders for the 2001N/3000 series.

KalleAnka - I suppose you live in Sweden. I have a NTSC SX-64 for sale this weekend, if you happen to be in Stockholm and will attend Retrogather Winter Games Edition at Tekniska museet. In case I don't get it sold, I'll send you a PM at the beginning of next week if you would like to buy one.

PET calculator, is that a KIM-1?

Sorry, it should read "Commodore LED calculator" of course. Yes I live in Sweden, just recently moved to Marsta - and will be waiting for next offer of SX-64 ;)

I'll check out Zimmers again but I don't think there is a Space Invaders version that runs on the 8032 series... I do hope someone can prove me wrong.

I own:

Vic-20
C64
C128
Amiga 1000
Amiga 500 (3)
Amiga 2000HD
Amiga 3000
Amiga 4000

My favourite is definitely my A500 with 2MB Chip and Viper 520 accelerator. It's the fastest Amiga I own. My 16MHz A3000 comes second. It's half the speed of the A500. The A3000 has VGA out and USB, but it's still not as nice as the A500. (slower boot, noisy fan, big and boxy)

I also have a big Commodore brand desk. The previous owners of my house left it because it was too big to move. I only noticed it was a Commodore after I put my Commodore computers on it. It was a weird coincidence.

The first computer I ever saw in real life was a Commodore PET 4032 in 1981.

I own (may get photos some day)

One commodore vic-20
6 or so c64 systems
one c64c
one c128
one c128d
one amiga 500

I had at one time
an amiga 2000
an amiga 3000
an amiga 1200

I also have a vic printer and a commodore dot matrix printer. 6-7 tape drives and about a dozen 1541 drives. I also have several 3rd party drives, all 5 1/4. Hiding in a box somewhere are 2 1571 drives and a 1541-II.

Hi All,

I own:

1x PET 2001 (out of service at the moment)
2x CBM 3008
1x CBM 4016
1x CBM 8032SK
1x CBM 3040 original
1x CBM 8052

2x C64II
1x C64
2x VIC20
1x C16
1x Plus-4
3x C128D (one plastic, one tin, one part source)
1x C128
1x SX-64
4x 1541
1x 1571
1x 1581
1x 1540
2x MPS-803
1x 1520 plotter
2x 1531
2x 1530

1x Amiga 500
1x Amiga 600
2x Amiga 1000
1x CDTV original

My favourites are the 3008, the C16, and the C128D.

Thanks, Braids.

I only own one commodore, but it's a good one I think:

406224504_db05f51b3c.jpg

Small screen 4032. It appears to have an eprom burner in it too.
Of course I like most people used to have a C64 too, but I don't know what became of it.

I see some pretty impressive commodore collections in this thread!

...I also have a big Commodore brand desk. The previous owners of my house left it because it was too big to move. I only noticed it was a Commodore after I put my Commodore computers on it. It was a weird coincidence.
Obviously you need a Commodore filing cabinet to go with that desk...

I used to have

Pet 3032 ( I think, not really sure, had 4k and the larger screen)
C64 Breadbox with Floppy Drive, two carts, and a 1702 ( still have the 1702)
C64c
C128
SX-64

However due to down sizing all I have left are the various part machines I used to maintain them. The "Computer Graveyard" as I call it is in a building no other family member cares about that's on my property, so it wasn't touched when I moved away for a year, aside from being vandalized. Several Monitors, a 486 Server, and a TRS 80 III were target practice, and a few of the Commodores were tossed through the windows. My Fully Restored XT, Second TRS-80 III, and TRS-80 IV were victims of the elements being let in from the busted windows. However Several Mac Pluses, an Apple IIc, A IIe, and two Atari 800xls have been tested and seemed to have survived.

I plan to restore a C64c and possibly a C64 from the remaining parts hulks pretty soon. Since there were the few other machines listed above that survived, I figured the seemingly resilient C64s might also be salvageable. Found at least three in decent shape, plus various busted keyboard ones that might have good motherboards or chips. I also found one remaining floppy cable and several Disk Drives. There's also a Coleco Adam that seems too far gone for me to restore, but might be good for parts for someone else restoring one.

Obviously you need a Commodore filing cabinet to go with that desk...

Good point. Somebody was giving away a free Commodore filing cabinet a few years ago, but when I went to get it, it was already gone.
(maybe some damn Commodore freak beat me to it ;))

Nice collection Al! A UX model! Very sweet! Have any pictures of it? Do you have the A/UX or whatever they called it (I get Amiga Unix and Apple Unix abbreviations mixed up).

Nice to see the Commodores getting in more collectors hands :)

Wow, super-zombie-thread!

Just for the heck of it, my collection:

PET 4032, 9" screen, metal case, Basic 4.0, works perfectly and cosmetically... maybe 8 out of 10? Pretty nice, really.
PET 4016, 12" screen/CRTC, low profile plastic, Basic 4.0, works perfectly, cosmetically, what, 3, 4? (No actual damage to the case plastics or keyboard other than some scratches and an engraving, but the name sticker is badly damaged.)
PET 2001, chicklet keyboard, Basic 2.0 in a "Dynamic Pet" Motherboard, works but needs some fiddling, cosmetically somewhere around a 6? (surface rust on top of the paint but the sticker is good.)
PET 8032, low profile, Basic 4.0, currently a doorstop, cosmetically about as bad as the 4016. (Less scratches but the sticker is missing entirely.)

One of these days I may need to thin the herd a bit. How many PETs can one person have?

There's always someone that'll have more than you'd think (*cough* Zimmerman). So really, it's always ok to have too many Pets. BTW, just for folks who want to know he has most of his stuff set up not boxed and regularly warms them up and plays. You should see the 128 he has hosting a MUDD .. or .. at least he had it up when I was there last.

I'll check out Zimmers again but I don't think there is a Space Invaders version that runs on the 8032 series... I do hope someone can prove me wrong.

If you are looking for an 80 column version, you may be right, but I have a version of Space Invaders that runs on a Model 8032, but needs to run a program called CBM4032 first which sets the 8032 into a 40 column screen. When you are finished playing, a SYS 64790 or a power cycle will perform a system reset to normal 80 columns. Send me a note on the PM system and I'll send the files to you.
